Crews tackle fire in Naseby Avenue, Folkestone

A woman was rescued from a house after a fire broke out.
Neighbours called 999 last night after spotting that the home in Naseby Avenue, Folkestone was on fire.
When the fire service arrived at 5.20pm, thick black smoke was seen coming from the property.
Crews rescued a woman suffering the effects of breathing in smoke. She was given oxygen and passed to the care of paramedics.
The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.

The fire service left the street at 6.40pm.
