Two suspects charged after woman assaulted in Beachborough Road, Folkestone

Two suspects have been charged after a woman was taken to hospital following an alleged assault.
Police were called just before 8am on Saturday to a property in Beachborough Road, Folkestone.
It followed reports that a woman had been attacked inside the home.
It is claimed a man and a woman, who were known to the victim, had entered the address earlier that morning and attacked the woman before leaving the scene.
Officers attended and paramedics treated the woman for injuries before she was taken to hospital, from where she has since been discharged.
Inquiries were carried out and two suspects were arrested later that morning.
On Sunday, June 2, detectives from East Kent CID charged Laura Haynes and Charlie Haynes, both of Milky Whey, Folkestone, with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Following an initial hearing at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court, Ms Haynes, 38, and Mr Haynes, 20, were both remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on July 1.
