Hundreds of pairs of shoes were stolen when a lorry parked in a lay-by was raided.
The vehicle was parked on the A20 between Folkestone and Dover and had just arrived from the continent.
Shoes worth £36,000 were taken after the lorry curtain was slashed. Rolls of fabric worth £100 were also stolen.
The theft happened overnight between Monday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 3.
The shoes are marked with the brand name Office on the insole.
Det Sgt Chris Benson, of South Kent Police, said: “These shoes could be anywhere in the country and we would like to speak to anyone who has information that will assist the investigation.”
