A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing has been found safe and well.

The teenager was last seen at 9pm on Tuesday (March 12) in Stuart Road, Folkestone.

She was last seen wearing a short black puffer jacket, white trainers, a black hoodie and light grey jogging bottoms, carrying a small leather handbag and wearing red nail polish.

Police officers were appealing for information about her whereabouts and urged people to call 999 if they knew.

They have since confirmed the 15-year-old has now been found safe and well.
