Two men have been arrested after a police chase through a town this afternoon.

Police arrested the pair on suspicion of stealing a car and drugs offences after a vehicle failed to stop for officers in Dover Road, Folkestone, at 1pm.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing police cars at the Castle Hill Interchange, near the M20 slip road at junction 12, soon afterwards.

A police spokesman said: "It subsequently stopped in Castle Hill and both men were arrested nearby. They remain in police custody."
