Police are appealing for information after a 'great community pub' in Hythe was broken into at the start of the bank holiday weekend.
The Prince of Wales on Dymchurch Road, near the junction with Burmarsh Road, is believed to have been burgled in the early hours of Saturday morning (May 5).
A charity fundraising tin was among the items snatched in the break-in.
A police spokesman said: "Police are investigating a report of a burglary in commercial premises in Dymchurch Road, Hythe which took place between 12.15am and 6.50am on Saturday May 5.
"It was reported two fruit machines were damaged and cash was stolen from inside the machines, a pool table and till.
"A safe and a charity tin, both containing cash, were also reported stolen."
Pub manager Mo Drayner said: "It's a great community pub, and we've been working hard to bring it back to that.
"No one's been hurt, but we are all a bit shook up.
"I'm hoping that somebody has seen something.
"If anybody has any information, please let staff or police know."
It's thought the CCTV on site may have also been tampered with.
