A big weekend of music will be held on Folkestone Harbour Arm over the bank holiday.
Acts will be performing on all four days starting tomorrow evening through to the Bank Holiday Monday.
Old school soul, funk, house, disco and hip-hop will kick off the weekend with The Get Down in the Waiting Room starting tomorrow at 8pm. Entry is free and there is no dress code.
Bands will return to the performance area on Saturday, April 30, with Arlet starting the day’s festivities at 1pm.
The folk and classical inspired band will bring sounds of the orchestra – strings, woodwind and brass – together with a folk twist from accordionist and composer Aidan Shepherd.
Familia Fourtouna bring a Mediterranean feel to the Harbour Arm at 3pm, with Rebetiko music from Greece and other influences from across the Med region for an hour-long set.
DJs will then be rounding off the day from 7pm.
Afro jazz starts the Sunday afternoon with Musa M’Boob and the Joko Band Horns of Africana bringing their mix of African traditional song with jazz.
Kent band Project F finish off the weekend’s line-up with a double set from 2pm.
