A COACH driver found in possession of over 100,000 indecent images of children, has been jailed for eight months.
John Baker, 30, was arrested in May last year and sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court after admitted 16 charges of making indecent images between April 2005 and May 2006.
Baker, of Bouverie Road West, Folkestone, said he was a solitary figure with few friends and admitted full reponsiblility for the contents found on computer equipment seized in a police raid.
Peter Forbes, prosecuting, said the police warrant resulted from an American police operation investigating credit card payments on child pornography websites.
Baker said he had installed file-sharing programmes and used a search phrase "pre-teen" to search for images.
He said he had no set preferences and did not fantasise about having sex with young children but accepted a prediliction for young girls rather than adults.
Danny Moore, for Baker, said he had made full admissions and throughout had expressed a desire to address his problems.
Baker will be subject of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order and on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.
