Concern grows for missing Stephen Phillips from Northumberland who may be in Folkestone

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a missing man’s welfare who might have travelled to Kent.

Stephen Phillips has not been heard from for three days and could be in the Folkestone area.

The 46-year-old was last seen in Northumbria and is described as a white man, about 5ft 8ins tall of medium build with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing black trainers, blue jeans and a black hoodie.

Northumbria Police say he was reported missing after his last sighting on Sunday at about 11.15am in the Morpeth town centre area.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers have received information suggesting Stephen, who has been reported missing in Northumbria, may be in the Folkestone area.”
