Motorists faced delays this morning after a collision along Sandgate High Street at Wilberforce Road.

The collision involved two vehicles and happened around 10.15 am. It partially blocked the road and caused slow traffic and delays for motorists.

Emergency services attended the incident.

A police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 10am to a collision in Sandgate High Street. It involved two vehicles.

"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance attended the scene and there were no serious injuries reported."

The road is now clear.
