A crash involving a van and a car closed the M20 this evening.

The accident happened coastbound between junction 11 for Hythe and the Le Shuttle terminal.

Two out of three lanes were blocked and the carriageway was closed while emergency services dealt with the crash.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries.

Two lanes are now open, and Highways Officers are clearing a diesel spill on the third.

Delays remain in the area.
