A car ended up ploughing into a fence after a crash with a camper van in Folkestone.

Only minor injuries were reported after the crash in Tram Road opposite Ryland Place at around 9am.

The crash involved a Renault Megane which ended up smashing into the fence along the former railway line.

The second vehicle was a VW camper van.

A woman who was driving the Megane was treated at the scene for minor injuries, a police spokesman said.

The man driving the camper van was not injured.
