Ten years after England’s legendary Ashes victory cricket icon Andrew “Freddie’’ Flintoff will come to Folkestone to share his memories.
His visit to the town in October is the only Kent date in a UK theatre tour and tickets are on sale for this now.
He will be at the Leas Cliff Hall from 8pm on Monday, October 12.
The 2005 Ashes victory propelled Flintoff to sporting legend status, making him one of England’s most admired cricket stars of all time.
He proved to be a top all-rounder for hitting the ball harder than any other cricketer and being able to bowl accurately at 90mph.
The 2005 Ashes made him the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and he became England Captain in 2006.
Flintoff will share his memories during this show at Folkestone with TV producer and writer friend Clyde Holcroft.
Tickets are on sale by calling 0844 871 3015 or by visiting www.atgtickets.com.
