A man on crutches was repeatedly hit in the face for telling a group of youths to stop climbing trees in Folkestone.
The 46-year-old was badly beaten by the teenagers for the telling off - before they stole his mobile phone and £70.
He intervened when he spotted three youngsters climbing trees near the marble seats, close to Debenhams in Sandgate Road.
One of the teenagers got down from the tree and smacked him four or five times in the face.
He then kicked away the man's crutches and hit him in the face a few more times, causing swelling and a black eye.
The victim was then ordered to hand over his phone before the attackers tried to grab his bag and stole £70.
Now detectives have released an efit of the main attacker in the assault, at around 6.30pm on Thursday, August 1.
He is described as white, tanned and aged 19-21. He was topless and wearing brown or blue coloured shorts with white trainers and no socks.
Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to phone DC Gemma Crouch on 01303 289413.
