A cyclist has been seriously injured in a crash this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving two vehicles and the cyclist on the A260 Canterbury Road, Hawkinge, near Folkestone, at 1.52pm.

Ambulance crews and police are at the scene, and the road has been closed near Pay Street.

Police say the cyclist is reported to have sustained serious injuries.
