A driver has been cut from his vehicle following a crash on the M20 this afternoon.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the Londonbound highway between junctions 11a and 11 at 2.30pm.
One car was involved in the collision, with firefighters using rescue cutting equipment to remove the driver from his vehicle.
He is now in the care of paramedics.
The road is currently closed between J12 and J11, with drivers experiencing heavy delays in the area.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service and emergency service partners were called to a single car crash on the M20 between junctions 11a (Eurotunnel) and 12 (Cheriton).
"Firefighters worked with paramedics to assess the driver before using rescue cutting gear to gain access to him before transferring him from his vehicle into the care of SECAmb.
"Highways England officers assisted Kent Police in managing traffic around the incident."
