Eurotunnel passengers have been warned of delays following a train breakdown.
A vehicle shuttle train, bound for France, lost its connection to an overhead power line at 7.30am today and the 300 passengers were moved to another train.
Eurotunnel warned that this would have a knock-on effect of delays for the rest of today.
A spokesman said: “We would advise passengers who have not booked not to travel on the service today. This is going to cause delays throughout the day.”
The train broke down 10 to 11 miles from the Cheriton terminal. This caused a 90-minute travelling delay for its passengers.
