For the second day of kmfm's Make Someone's Christmas, foster carer Becky Doust got a very special surprise.
The 41-year-old from near Folkestone was nominated by her foster son Blake, who has been fostering for six and a half years.
He said: "Becky Doust is a foster career and has looked after me and my brother for five years now while having a numerous amount of other kids in the time period.
"Many foster carers always put their kids ahead of foster kids, however Becky has always treated everyone the same and has helped me out a lot with my GCSEs.
"She doesn't receive the credit she deserves and it is a very stressful, challenging job."
Becky was left stunned when she got a call from drivetime presenter Rob Wills this evening.
She explained how her husband, who grew up in a foster family, encouraged her to begin looking after children who needed a home.
"Before I said I could never do it because I'd be crying all the time and wouldn't be strong enough but it got to the point when I thought, you know what, I can do this now. And we bit the bullet and did it," she said.
Speaking to others who may be considering becoming a foster parent, Becky added: "It's not a job that you can clock in and out of, it's definitely a lifestyle you choose. It can be quite hard at times but it's also very rewarding."
She went on to say how Blake has passed all his GCSEs.
As a final surprise, with the help of McArthurGlen Ashford Designer Outlet, kmfm revealed Becky will be receiving special gift of a £300 Encore gift card.
This can be uses to go and see any West End show.
Upon receiving this news, Becky said: "Oh my goodness - wow. I feel really emotional now - that is so, so lovely. I need to go and find Blake now and give him a big hug. I'm totally speechless which doesn't happen very often."
Special Olympics gold medalist Reece Johnson was the first to receive a phone call from Rob in this year's Make Someone's Christmas Campaign yesterday. Tune into kmfm at 6pm tomorrow to find out who's next.
