Four people had to be rescued after they were trapped in a hotel lift.
One of the stuck women became so distressed firefighters dashed with their blue lights on to help her.
The fire brigade was called out at 10am today to the Premier Inn at Cherry Garden Lane, Folkestone.
The victims were two men and two women, all in their 30s and they were stuck for 20 minutes.
A fire crew would usually travel at standard pace for such a callout, where there is no anticipated immediate danger.
But Heather Heath, watch manager at Folkestone Fire Station, said: “One of the women was a little distressed so we went with our blue lights.”
One crew from the station was called out.
The victims were freed and found to be unharmed.
