FOR motorists gearing up for a half term holiday on the Continent this weekend, AA patrols will be at hand on Friday and Saturday at Euro Tunnel to offer European driving advice.
And they will carry out a series of free checks to make sure cars are fully prepared for the continental driving trip ahead.
The breakdown service's staff will be at the Euro Tunnel terminal in Folkestone from 6am to 12pm.
AA patrols will be checking water levels, windscreen wash, headlights plus making sure motorists have met the equipment requirements for countries they’re driving through (including GB stickers and correctly fitted beam converters.
They will also be on hand to answer any specific European driving questions.
There will also be an opportunity for holiday motorists to take out the AA’s European Breakdown Cover before heading off, day.
Tanya Murray, head of European Breakdown for the AA, says: “Every year, the AA helps British motorists in Europe by repairing at the roadside and repatriating their vehicles back to the UK."
