Firefighters were called to put out a small fire in a field last night.

The crew from Folkestone went to Pay Street in Densole, where the flames had engulfed about 100 square metres of the grass.

It has been confirmed that the fire was in the middle of the clearing and took half an hour to put out.

It is not known how it was started.
