Folkestone: Hotel evacuated after fire in kitchen

A Folkestone hotel was evacuated after a fire broke out in the kitchen this evening.

Fire crews attended the hotel in Langhorne Gardens shortly after 9pm.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to put out the blaze, and crews remailed to damp down and make the area safe.
