Packed full of local news, sport, entertainment and advertising, is only 65p. As well as being the best value local paper in the area, we are always first with the news, hitting the news-stands every Wednesday.
The Express is dedicated EXCLUSIVELY to Folkestone and Hythe. We feature five pages of local sport every week and our regular features are proving a big hit with readers.
Our nostalgia pages have been particularly popular: Every week on our Freeze Frame page we feature spectacular black and white photos from the 1960s to the 1980s and also look back at how the area was depicted on old picture postcards.
In our Rock of Ages section, we celebrate Folkestone's role as a major music venue, remembering some of the big name acts who have played in the town. including the Rolling Stones, Slade and T.Rex.
Our Creative Quarter page showcases the talents of the area's many artists and photographers.
The Folkestone and Hythe Express has also become a positive voice for Shepway, supporting plans for an arch commemorating Folkestone's role in the First World War and campaigning to raise funds for the town's Christmas lights.
We have delighted parents with our First Class supplement, featuring photos of their children's first days at school and voting begins later this month in our Cute Kids competition, organised in conjunction with ASDA at Bouverie Place and Starlight Studios.
