Is the Dark Lord targeting Folkestone tonight?

Muggles were left bemused when the face of Lord Voldemort, the arch-enemy of Harry Potter, was seen in clouds above the town.

He Who Must Not Be Named was spotted "checking out Asda" in the town and was posted on Twitter by the Spotted in Folkestone page.

In the J.K. Rowling books and the film series the appearance of The Dark Mark - Voldemort's face in the sky - represented the call to arms of his army of dark wizards and a sign bad things are to come.

It is the second face spotted this week after British general and politician the Duke of Wellington was seen carved into a hedge in Walmer.

The formation is scientifically known as a pareidolia - a phenomenon where a pattern is imagined or perceived based on a familiar stimulus in the mind like seeing a face where it does not actually exist in a piece of toast or in the moon for example.

Or in this case Voldemort in the clouds.
