Emergency services descended on a seafront hotel after a man died following a medical incident.
Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to the Grand Burstin in Folkestone on Saturday.
The alarm was raised following reports a man had collapsed sparking a rapid response to the hotel in Marine Parade.
Today, an ambulance service spokesperson confirmed he died at the scene.
“We were called shortly after midday on Saturday to reports of a person in need of medical attention at the Grand Burstin Hotel in Folkestone,” they said.
“Sadly, one person died at the scene.”
Crews remained at the scene until the evening.
A police spokesman said at the weekend: “We were called at 2.20pm by South East Coast Ambulance Service, following a medical incident at a hotel in Marine Parade, Folkestone.
"Officers attended and are providing assistance."
