Emergency services rushed to a residential road to help a man who had fallen ill.
The police were called at 2.15pm yesterday to Hill Road in Folkestone and an ambulance was also at the scene.
An officer was spotted standing in the road, thought to be diverting traffic while the man was taken care of.
A police spokesman said: "Officers attended and the man was taken to hospital for further treatment.
"There were no suspicious circumstances and no criminal offences reported."
