The ambulance service was called just before 9.30am today to Clifton Gardens, near Sandgate Road, in Folkestone.
Two ambulance vehicles were sent and the man, in his 60s, was rushed to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

"We had an ambulance crew in a car and an ambulance attend and the male pedestrian was assessed and treated at the scene."
A police spokesman said: "The vehicle stopped and there have been no arrests."
