A MAN appeared in court today charged with murdering a 38-year-old woman in Folkestone.

Keith Miller, also 38, of Augusta Gardens, Folkestone, is accused of killing Tracey Lea Hibbert, of St Gabriel’s Court, Folkestone.

Miss Hibbert died from multiple stab wounds at the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford last Friday.

The case was committed to Maidstone Crown Court and Mr Miller was remanded in custody until March 29 when there will be a plea and directions hearing. An application for bail at today's hearing was turned down by the magistrates.
