A man was involved in a prolonged stand-off with police in a Kent town on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old climbed on to the roof of a house in Cheriton Road, Folkestone at around 8.30am and refused to come down.
Police said he clambered up scaffolding to the top of the three-storey property after officers tried to question him about an alleged burglary in nearby Sandgate.
The road was closed off to traffic and pedestrians while negotiators tried to persuade him to come down and an ambulance was put on standby.
Officers communicated with him through a skylight and persuaded him to come down off the roof at 2.40pm.
He was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and is in police custody.
