Police are hunting for a man and a teenager after an attempted robbery in which the victim was left with facial injuries.
The reported incident happened on steps near a viaduct in Bradstone Avenue, Folkestone on September 12.
At 8.45pm, a man was approached by two people – one thought to be about 15 years old – who demanded his belongings from him.
The victim was punched in the face but managed to get away and called the police.
Now, officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage in the area.
A spokesman for the force said: “One suspect is described as in his 30s, around 6ft 1in tall, of large build with a short beard.
“He was wearing dark jeans and a dark jumper.
“The boy is described as around 15, roughly 5ft 5ins tall, and was wearing glasses.”
An investigation is ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident or who has doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist the investigation is urged to call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/164149/23.
