A medical emergency where a man “accidentally” fell at a private address, resulted in him being rushed to a London hospital.

The air ambulance landed in a small field in Eversley Road, Seabrook, at 10.49pm on Saturday night to help a man who lived nearby.

An ambulance mission report said the man had fallen, but did not clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The air ambulance was not needed to take the patient to hospital.

He was taken by road to Kings College Hospital after sustaining injuries to his upper arm and abdomen.

Ambulance spokesman Rich Airey said: "I can confirm that it was assisting us at a call to a nearby private address.

"As always we don’t comment on the detail of calls to private addresses."

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: “We assisted the ambulance service to a medical emergency.”
