A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after his motorbike collided with a car last night.

Police were called to Cherry Garden Avenue, in Folkestone around 10pm to reports of a smash between a car and a motorbike.

The motorcyclist was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and treated for minor injuries.

The road was closed until around 11pm and the vehicles were recovered.
