Man taken to hospital after falling from ladder in Castle Hill Road, Folkestone

A person has been taken to hospital after falling from a ladder.

The victim was reportedly working on scaffolding at a house in Folkestone when the incident happened.

Paramedics were called at 9.10am to Castle Hill Avenue, near Kingsnorth Gardens, Folkestone, following reports of the accident.

A witness told KentOnline they saw a person being transported on a stretcher.

They added that scaffolders from a nearby house were around the scene.

An ambulance service spokesman added: “A crew attended and the person was assessed and treated before being taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.”
