Police discovered the body of a man in a flat.

Officers, who were called to Broadmead Road just before 11am yesterday, are not treating the death as suspicious.

A police spokesman said: "A report will now be prepared for the coroner.

"The man’s next of kin are aware.

"Kent Police was called at 10.59am following the death of a man at a property in Broadmead Road, Folkestone.

"Officers attended and carried out inquiries at the scene but the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.”
