A pile-up on a dual carriageway last night involving three vehicles only resulted in minor injuries.

Police were called to the A20 on the coastbound carriageway between the Roundhill Tunnels at Folkestone and the Courtwood Interchange.

Officers attended shortly before 9.45pm to the crash.

Firefighters from Folkestone were also called but a spokesman from the fire service said all the occupants were out by the time they had arrived and crews did not have to cut anyone out.

One lane was closed while debris was cleared.
