A missing man could be sleeping inside a tent tonight.

George Lafferty, 50, is missing from Leigh on Sea in Essex and has links to Folkestone.

He was last seen wearing a heavy black coat, a blue hoody and jeans with walking boots.

Mr Lafferty may have a black suitcase with him and police in Essex believe he could be sleeping in a tent.

He also has links to Porthmadog in Wales.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
