A woman had a tooth knocked out as an attacker stormed through a home demanding money and hitting three family members.

Police were called to Beatty Road in Folkestone just after 8pm last night, after it was reported two men were threatening a family and demanding money.

A 15-year-old boy was punched in the face and hit several times by one man, who followed a younger member of the family into the house.

The attacker is then said to have gone upstairs and confronted a 49-year-old man, punching him in the face.

As a 39-year-old woman tried to stop the violence, she was punched in the face - knocking out a tooth.

The man then ran back downstairs.

He is described as aged in his late 20s, 6ft tall, medium build with short, dark brown hair and facial stubble.

He was wearing a grey hooded top, shorts, white socks and trainers.

The second man, who is thought to have had a knife, and stayed downstairs is aged about 27, 5ft 9ins tall and wearing a grey hooded top with a logo on the left chest.

The three who were injured were checked over by ambulance staff.
