A multi-car crash caused traffic chaos this morning.

The A20 in Hythe was partially blocked in both direction due to an accident between the B2067 Otterpool Lane, Sellindge, and the A261 Hythe Road, Westenhanger, near The Airport Cafe.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 6.31am to a report of a collision involving a number of vehicles.

"Officers are attending the A20 in Hythe where recovery is ongoing."

Police were unable to give an injuries caused by the accident. The South East Coast Ambulance Service has also been contacted for comment.
