A 41-year-old man who has been questioned in connection with a murder in Folkestone is now in a secure hospital.
The man, from Folkestone, was arrested last Friday. Yesterday he was sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
A 35-year-old man from Folkestone was also arrested on Friday. He was released on Saturday evening on police bail, while officers make further inquiries.
Another man, a 36-year-old from the town, was taken into police custody last Tuesday, the day after the murder, but was discharged from police custody last Thursday.
The three men have been questioned about the death of 68-year-old Derek Saxby who was murdered at his home address in London Street, Folkestone, late on November 15. A post mortem revealed he died from a stab wound.
Mr Saxby lived in a home run by a charity called the Carr-Gomm Society. This gives housing and support to people with learning, physical or mental health disabilities.
