A "disorderly" man on various substances - including ketamine - shouted insults at a woman while standing naked in the street.
Kyle Smith came to the attention of police after they received a report of a disturbance in Radnor Street, Folkestone, last month.
When they arrived, they found Smith naked and shouting and abusing a woman who was also in the road.
As officers arrested and searched Smith and his belongings, they found he had 0.4 grams of cocaine on him as well as 13.8 grams of cannabis.
He was later charged and Smith, of Shellons Street, in the town, admitted three offences - possession of cocaine and cannabis and threatening behaviour - when he appeared at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on January 25.
The court heard Smith had told officers he had also taken an amount of ketamine on the day he was found naked.
It was not revealed, however, how Smith came to be naked in the street or where he took his clothes off.
Dylan Bradshaw, prosecuting, said: "Police had been called to a disturbance in Radnor Street and found him in a fairly poor condition in terms of his sobriety.
"He was completely naked and was shouting at a woman.
"It was fairly unpleasant and disorderly, he was shouting profanities and insults and when police arrested him they searched him and found the drugs."
District Judge Justin Barron heard the 23-year-old admitted during interview he had been on drugs that day and probably caused some alarm as he had probably blacked out. He had also taken ketamine and consumed alcohol.
The court heard Smith was not heavily convicted and suffered with ADHD and this offence was a one-off glitch.
"I think you do need some assistance as you don't want to be running around naked in the streets, you caused quite a scene..."
He had now been sober for a number of weeks.
Judge Barron also heard Smith started smoking cannabis at 14 and will generally take whatever is on offer, but felt he didn't need help to address his substance abuse issues.
Judge Barron disagreed with Smith and felt he did need help.
He said: "I think you do need some assistance as you don't want to be running around naked in the streets, you caused quite a scene."
As a result, Smith was placed on a 12 month community order which will see him complete a three month drug rehabilitation requirement and attend 15 rehabilitation sessions with probation.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and £85 costs.
The judge also ordered the drugs found on Smith that day be destroyed.
