A NAKED man rescued from the seashore at Folkestone on Tuesday had been swimming, say police.
The man, in his fifties who has not been named, was treated for hypothermia at Ashford's William Harvey Hospital where he was spoken to by officers.
He said a sea swim was a regular activity for him and he was resting after a dip when the effects of the cold took hold.
Ambulance and Coastguard crews and Dover Lifeboat were all sent to rescue him.
Police had appealed for help in identifying the man shortly after he was pulled from the water.
