Police officers investigating the death of a cyclist have confirmed no other vehicle was involved in the accident.
A massive emergency service response was triggered in Folkestone last week, following reports a man had fallen off his bicycle.
The air ambulance joined ground crews and at least seven police cars in Sandgate Hill on Friday morning.
Tragically, the man was declared dead at the scene.
The road remained closed for several hours while officers investigated.
A police spokesman said: "Following investigations, we do not believe any other vehicle was involved in this incident.
"A report will be prepared for the coroner."
Flowers have been left in tribute near the Old School Mews.
The identity of the man is still unknown.
