A ram on the loose shut a road in Folkestone, before he was caught by police.
The male sheep was captured by an officer outside Tesco Express in Foord Road.
Pictures from the scene show two police cars near the store, and the black ram being held by the officer.
The incident blocked the road, but it has now reopened.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said the force “was called at around 2.10pm to a report of a loose ram in Harvey Street, Folkestone.
“Officers attended and located the animal in nearby Foord Road, where it was brought to safety and returned to its owner.”
