Could you be taking part in the pantomime at Folkestone’s Leas Cliff Hall this Christmas? Oh yes you could!
Auditions are being held on Sunday, September 14, for children and adults to join the cast of Sleeping Beauty as part of the chorus and in supporting roles.
The pantomime opens opens on December 23 and runs until January 10, starring Paul Ketley as Nurse Nellie, Natalie Hubbard as the Wicked Queen and Rob Hancox and Finley Guy as Fairy Sparkle.
Last year’s pantomime broke box office records at the hall, with 9,000 tickets being sold for Cinderella.
The show also marks the return of director Bob Osborne, producer Neil Hunnisett and choreographer Laura Brickell.
The show promises fantastic sets, breathtaking Costumes, audience participation and a traditional slapstik routine.
A spokesman said: “Sleeping Beauty promises to be our biggest, best and funniest pantomime ever, with over 3,000 tickets sold already.”
If you can sing, dance, act or have great comedic timing and fancy performing in front of thousands of people, get along to the open auditions at the venue on Sunday, September 14.
Auditions for children aged five-12 start at 10am and for over-16s at 11.15am.
