A jewellery thief is thought to have carried their loot in a pillowcase when they burgled a Folkestone home.
Officers are investigating the break-in in Horn Street where several pieces of jewellery were stolen and cash taken.
It is reported entry to the front door was forced open between 10am and 6pm.
The incident took place on Thursday, March 9 but police have just released the details.
Police said a gold half sovereign ring, a gold necklace with pearls and amethysts, an amethyst pendant, two amethyst earrings, and a silver necklace and earring set were stolen.
PC Kirsty Gee said: "A pillow case with pink butterfly decoration was also stolen and it is possible the offender used this to carry the stolen property.
"I would be keen to speak to anyone who saw somebody carrying this pillow case."
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
