There was added drama during a seafront film shoot when police had to be called after a motorist refused to move their car.
Production crews - believed to be working on a new Netflix thriller provisionally titled Palomino - were working by Folkestone harbour when they asked the driver to clear their vehicle from the scene.
It is understood the owner of the car initially refused, and police had to be called in to get them to comply with the request.
An eyewitness told KentOnline what they saw during the shoot, which was disrupted by the motorist's antics.
"Residents had been asked to move their cars where possible during a few hours of filming," they said.
"One man caused great problems by refusing to move his car, driving round and round and halting filming. The production team had to call the police."
The filming, which took place on the morning of Wednesday, September 21, centred around the Stade and locals described seeing production crews swarming around the quayside.
Bridget Chapman came across the hive of activity after a morning sea swim and described seeing "clipboards, lanyards and hi-viz as far as the eye can see".
"The Stade was a lot busier than usual this morning after I was walking back from a swim at 7.30am," she said.
"There were also stop signs around to stop traffic."
The new show, which is being produced by Left Bank Pictures, tells the story of a British teacher who is caught up in a robbery in Spain.
Left Bank are the production company behind Netflix hit The Crown.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report that a vehicle was obstructing access to an area in Beach Street, Folkestone.
"Police attended and spoke to the vehicle owner. The vehicle was moved."
