Police were called to a street brawl involving more than 20 people in Folkestone town centre.
Officers received reports of a fight, but when they arrived at the scene in Rendezvous Street, the scuffle stopped and several groups were dispersed.
It is not known exactly where the fighting started but it is thought to have broken out in a bar before spilling out onto the street.

Residents and businesses claimed on social media they saw the group marching down the road, with two men seen fighting.
The incident came to a head outside the Wetherspoons pub the Samuel Peto with people standing on the steps outside the pub filming the incident.
It led to a search in Payers Park - behind the Old High Street - and in Tontine Street involving dozens of police officers.
The drama unfolded at around 11.20pm on Saturday, but details have only just emerged.
No arrests were made.
Police spokesman Steve Knight said: "None of those present alleged any offences had been committed against them, and nobody came forward with any injuries. There were no arrests."
Officers remained in the area until around 1am to make sure the fighting had stopped and make inquiries.
