A popular Chinese buffet restaurant has closed suddenly.
The Oriental Buffet in Folkestone shut its doors without warning with a note posted on the door informing diners.
The sign in the all-you-can-eat restaurant in Rendezvous Street says it is shut “until further notice”, while on Google it is listed as “temporarily closed”.
Additionally, a statement on its website reads: “We are closed for maintenence until further notice, sorry for inconvenience caused.”
However, a listing for the building has gone up on an estate agent.
The listing, advertised by Motis Estates, offers the space for £2,500 per month to rent.
Described as a “large commercial unit” in the heart of the town centre it was also listed as a “recent instruction”.
The reason for the business shutting has not yet been confirmed.
The business has been contacted for further comment.
