Police investigating the suspected murder of a landlord who was shot inside his own pub have released CCTV of a tattooed man they want to speak to.
Joe Daniels, 58, was found unresponsive inside the Red Cow in Foord Road, Folkestone, just before 11.30am on Wednesday, November 22 last year.
He had suffered an injury consistent with a gunshot and detectives have now released an image of a man they think may have important information.
Officers have studied CCTV footage from the days leading up to the incident and spoken to several people who were in the area, but are yet to speak to the man pictured who they believe was also in the vicinity.
The man pictured has a tattoo on the right side of his face.
Senior investigating officer detective chief inspector Richard Vickery said: "There is no suggestion this man has done anything wrong but we need to speak to everyone who visited the pub in the lead up to the incident.
"All information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could be essential to our investigation. We urge this man or anyone who knows where he is to contact us as soon as possible.
"Once again, we would like to thank all those people who have come forward with information so far.
"Witnesses can contact us through our appeal line on 01303 289600, quoting reference 22-0452."
