A teenager's been arrested after police and fire crews were called to deal with a 'domestic incident' in Folkestone.
The Parade was cordoned off in both directions yesterday evening (Monday April 23) while emergency services worked to get the man down safely from a window ledge.
Fire crews were seen using a height vehicle to access one of the flats near the Guildhall pub.
Witnesses said two fire engines, a police van, police car and an ambulance were at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 4.29pm on Monday April 23 to a report of a domestic incident at a private address in The Parade, Folkestone.
"On arrival, a man was seen on a window ledge of a building, and the road was closed as precaution until the man came down safely.
"He was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and assaulting an officer.
"The 19-year-old man from Folkestone currently remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing."
Emergency services arrived at around 6.50pm but scaled down the response later.
